OEA-PAC Endorsements

OEA Members understand that strong schools require real investment — including raising the revenue our communities need and ensuring the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share. Our OEA-PAC recommended candidates have shown they will stand up for students, support educators, and put communities first — and OEA members are ready to help elect them.

Endorsements

As part of the endorsement process, OEA-PAC members meet directly with candidates running for local, statewide and federal office, engage with candidates during question-and-answer forums, and ultimately vote to make endorsements and recommendations.

In Oregon’s federal races, the OEA-PAC makes recommendations that are forwarded to NEA’s PAC Council, the exclusive endorsing body for federal candidates seeking the endorsement of Oregon’s educators. Recommendations do not constitute endorsements. NEA’s PAC Council will convene later this Spring to deliberate and make final endorsement decisions for federal candidates.
