Higher Education Faculty & Staff

The faculty and staff of Oregon's community colleges play a critical role in preparing students to enter the workforce with specialized training, and to achieve college degrees and certifications.
Community College rally

Oregon’s community colleges – their faculty and staff – serve as our state’s economic first-responders. OEA represents faculty and staff at 10 out of 17 community colleges across the state.

OEA supports higher education professionals by helping them advocate for fair pay, expanded health care access and pension benefits, protections for academic freedom, and so much more. We help faculty and staff understand the challenges of today’s campuses and empower them to work together to solve problems and build power.
