Playful Learning Webinar Series: Habits of Mind

Join a professional learning community of OEA members to deepen skills for creating student-lead learning and joy! Come learn about the practice of Playful Learning Inquiry and Habits of Mind in order to increase student-lead learning and joy in the classroom. Focus is on preschool and early grades, but all levels of educators are welcome. The three-part series culminates in a sharing session with participants from session 1 and 2 to build off our collective experience using the techniques.

Join OEA member Angela Vargas and Teaching PreSchool Partners Soobin Oh to learn about how the tenants of Playful Learning and Habits of Mind can help students of all ages lead their own learning and find joy in school. Participants will explore how to get started, how Beaverton School District is using the Habits of Mind Rubric, and connect with other OEA members interested in increasing student joy in school.
