The National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality was created by the 22nd Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, Repression & the Criminalization of a Generation. Their aim was to expose the epidemic of police brutality. They ask citizens to wear black on this day to honor the lives of victims of police brutality.

  • The Day Tajon Got Shot - T'Asia, J'yona, Reiyanna Davis, Jonae Haynesworth, Makiya, Rose, Najae, Serenity Summers, Jeanet, & Temil - In March, 2015 ten teenage girls from Beacon House in Washington DC started writing a novel during the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement. They began with one central question: “What really happens in a community when a Black youth is the victim of violence by police?”
