OEA General Counsel
The Oregon Education Association is looking for a General Counsel to join our team! The General Counsel manages the member legal services and corporate legal affairs programs for the Association and advises Association leaders, members, and staff on collective bargaining and individual employment issues; as well as provides advice and counsel on internal staff and labor relations. In conjunction with the Director of Public Affairs & Professional Excellence (PAPE), the General Counsel also assists with the Public Affairs department on legislative and ballot measure issues as needed.
UniServ Administrative Assistant - Portland Association of Teachers
The Oregon Education Association is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to join our team! The person in this position is one of two team members who support a fast-paced office. This position provides complex administrative support, which includes but is not limited to: membership data analysis and updates, bargaining support, political action support, assistance to local leaders and members, and event coordination. This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in Portland, Oregon and has a Monday - Friday work schedule; this position requires in-office work and may include evening and weekend hours to meet business needs.

The Oregon Education Association is seeking a seasoned executive assistant whose primary responsibilities are to support to the OEA President, OEA Vice President, and OEA Board of Directors. The person in this position will perform complex administrative support duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, some accounting, budget and bookkeeping duties. The person in this position is expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality as they regularly have access to sensitive information. This position is based at our office in Portland, Oregon and requires regular in-office presence. This position is currently closed to accepting new applications.
