Tawakkoi Karman awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

Tawakkoi Karman was known as the “Iron Woman” and “Mother of the Revolution". She was the first Yemeni and Arab woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize for her role in the Yemeni uprising.
