In 2022, Oregon had the 12th highest youth suicide rate in the U.S., highlighting the urgent need for action. As educators, we play a vital role in supporting student mental health. Come learn about Adi’s Act, required district policies, and state level supports to help you identify warning signs, respond effectively, and foster a culture of belonging and safety in your school.

The Oregon Education Association (OEA) is a union committed to the cause of providing the basic right of great public education to every student. OEA represents about 41,000 educators working in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 public schools and community colleges.
