Suicide Knowledge & Prevention

Join OEA members and Oregon Department of Education’s Nole Kennedy for an essential conversation on preventing youth suicide. In 2022, Oregon had the 12th highest youth suicide rate in the U.S., highlighting the urgent need for action. As educators, we play a vital role in supporting student mental health. Come learn about Adi’s Act, required district policies, and state level supports to help you identify warning signs, respond effectively, and foster a culture of belonging and safety in your school.
