Engaging the Community (Virtual)

In this workshop members will learn the basic skills of organizing with their community. We’ll look at examples from across the country in both urban and rural communities and study the lessons learned from the fights to stop school closures, increase funding, flip school boards, add after school programming and many more. Members will walk away with resources and a plan to begin bringing together, educators, students, families and community partners.
