El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) begins on October 31 and ends on November 2. It is a Mexican holiday during which ancient Aztec rituals honoring the dead are performed. The rituals have been practiced for at least 3000 years. Día de los Muertos acknowledges the symbiotic relationship between life and death.
