Anniversary of Robert Clemente’s Induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Clemente a native of Puerto Rico, spent his entire career playing for the Pittsburg Pirates, leading them to a world series twice, along with countless other sports honors. He was killed in a plane crash bringing emergency supplies to Nicaragua following an earthquake. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973.
