Anniversary of the first Woman’s Rights Convention

The first Woman's Rights Convention took place on this day in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York. Three hundred people met and constructed the "Declaration of Sentiments" demanding the right to vote for women. 68 women and 32 men sign this document.
