In 1921, White residents of Tulsa attack Black residences and businesses. They dropped bombs from aircraft and destroyed 35 square blocks of Greenwood District, which was called “Black Wall Street” at the time. 200-33 people were killed and 10,000 were left homeless. Property was never recovered, and no compensation was ever given.
