OEA Leadership Elections

If you would like to make a difference in public education for students and for your fellow educators in Oregon, please consider running for an OEA leadership position. Links to current vacancies are listed below, and I would be happy to discuss the responsibilities involved with any position for which you may be interested.

If you aren’t interested yourself, please encourage fellow members who are great leaders, inspiring educators, and who are working every day to improve public education to run for one of these positions. We have a lot of work ahead of us, and with your help and the help of all our members, we can continue to improve public education for Oregon’s students and educators.

Vote at OEA Representative Assembly Elections:
DEADLINE: Must be received/postmarked by February 21, 2023

Deadlines are different: The deadlines for positions elected at OEA RA are different than for the OEA Board Directors and NEA RA State Delegates. Please be sure to read the packet information carefully to ensure you meet the correct deadline.

Election Results Notification: All candidates who have filed for a Board Director or NEA RA State Delegate position will be notified of the election results. Write-in candidates who win an election will also receive notification. If you wish to check on the election results, you may contact Annie Duncan beginning April 3, 2023.

Update as of 1/19/23:

The deadline for OEA Board and NEA-RA State Delegates has passed. Ballots must have been received/postmarked by January 17, 2023.
